Alphabet paste : The Pasta alphabet (called in Italy Alfabeto or spaghetti Alphabetti), are small pasta molded and cut to form the letters of the alphabet. These letters are marketed in the form of pasta dry as soup pasta or to consommé, like any other type of pasta potage. They are often tableware in a Soupe sold in Cans which contains a broth concentrate. More simply, they can be cooked in a broth (cube) with a littleolive oil and parsley chopped.
To United States of America, this alphabet soup has been popular for several decades, especially with children.
There are both variants, including alphabet pasta in a marinara pizza or in a sauce spaghetti. For example, the Alphabetetti Spaghetti was sold by HJ Heinz for 60 years before being discontinued in 1990. It was introduced again by the Heinz company in 2005.
