Moroccan cuisine, original and sometimes complex, has been able to combine a multitude of influences: Berber, Egyptian, Arab-Andalusian, Spanish, French, Jewish. There is also an influence from the cuisines of sub-Saharan Africa and Asia (especially 'India with its very spicy cuisine). Moroccan cuisine offers a wide variety of dishes: couscous, tagines, pastilla, méchoui, briouats (small triangular puff pastry filled with meat or fish) ....
