Emile Darenne : Emile Darenne is chef pâtissier French (Paris 1861 –?). Son of confectioner, he studied brilliantly before entering learning to the pastry Elderberry in Paris. He then heads for the Food and enters the Hotel de l'Europe at Treport. These were then the Jockey Club et Alexandria.
A tireless researcher, he studies the cannery diet for the Carnet-Saussier house. It's at Versailles, where he settled in 1887 that he acquired his renown of master confectioner.
En association with Pierre Louis Duval he writes : Treatise on modern pastry work still up to date.
He is also the author ofHistory of food trades.
