Soungouf flour: Soungouf flour (word coming from Wolof sunguf) is a millet flour used in West Africa, particularly in Senegal, in Wolof or Lebou environment, for various preparations such as lakh, thiéré couscous, mboum sauce or rouy (ruy), a kind of porridge given to young children, as “weaning broth”.
It is also credited with therapeutic, even magical, virtues.
