Keftedes: Keftedes are typical preparations of Turkish cuisine, based on minced meat with the addition of bacon and spices, sometimes tied with eggs, shaped into a puck, which are then floured and sautéed.
The word itself is Magyar (Hungarian), but keftedes are found in German, Austrian, Cypriot and Greek cuisines, where they are seasoned with chopped onion.
