Gulha (Maldivian cuisine): Gulha (or gulhaa) is a typical and popular dish of Maldivian cuisine.
Gulha are dumplings that are stuffed with a mixture of (tuna or Maldivian salt fish, locally called valhoamas), finely chopped onion, coconut and chilli.
Depending on the recipes, turmeric, lime juice and chopped curry leaves are added to the mixture.
Once ready, the gulha are fried.
