Badèche: The red badèche is a seawater fish, close to the grouper (family Serranidae), measuring 50 to 80 cm, with a reddish-brown body with yellow spots and a pointed snout. The red badger frequents the Atlantic coast (from Portugal to Angola) and the Mediterranean. Its flesh is firm.
Another species, the badèche grouper, has similar characteristics.
