Goumeau: Goumeau is the name of a rather thick pancake batter (apparatus) in certain regions of eastern France (Burgundy, Franche-Comté), sometimes flavored with vanilla and / or brandy (kirsch, mirabelle, ...) and which is used to make desserts such as clafoutis, pancakes (like those of the Kings) or so-called "household" pies.
