Gourami (fish): Gouramis are a family of freshwater fish of the order Perciformes (Scientific name: Osphronemidae).
These are fish found in Asia, from Pakistan and India to Insulindia and Korea.
They are generally transversely flattened fish with a long ray in front of the pelvic fin and tend to their young.
