Pangasi (Filipino rice wine): Pangasi, also known as pangase or gasi, are different traditional Filipino rice wines from the islands of Visayas and Mindanao in the Philippines.
They could also be made from other native grains like millet and Job's tears. Pangasi and other alcoholic beverages of Filipino origin made from cereals were collectively referred to by the Spaniards (*) as pitarrillos.
