Tea : Tea comes from a tree or shrub, the tea tree (family of Ternstromiaceae - Botanical name: Camellia sinensis) white-flowered, evergreen. The tea plant is native to the Far East, cultivated for its leaves which contain alkaloids.
In pastries and desserts: tea is used to make cakes or cakes, ice cream, sorbet or granita and to flavor sweet sauces (custard, pastry) and as a sauce for fresh fruit.
