Saint André (onion): The Saint André sweet onion is produced in the Cévennes (South of France). It is recognized, from the outset, by its satiny and pearly appearance and it is distinguished by its very tender texture, its delicacy of taste which make it a “high-end” onion, melting and succulent both raw and cooked, in salad or glaze.
