Meslalla (olive): The meslalla olive is a Moroccan cultivar of green olive with an ovoid shape used for the production of olive oil.
In Morocco, it also bears the name of cracked green olive.
In the kitchen, it is prepared broken up, marinated in garlic and hot peppers.
We find this olive in Moroccan hors d'oeuvres,
Meslalla olive is also used in tagines.
