Ice cube radish: Ice cube radishes (also called ice cube turnips) are rather small summer turnips, long (10 to 15 cm) and white as ice, hence their name.
Resembling the Japanese "daikon" radish, ice-cube radishes are eaten grated in salads or in a salted sandwich like radishes or cooked like turnips to accompany meats in sauce (navarin) or roasted or fish.
