Sow: A sow is the adult female of the pig (it is also called a tick), the young female raised for reproduction is a gilt.
The male is the boar and the young pig (before weaning) is called piglet, piglet, piglet (or suckling pig on the plate).
The young weaned pig is called nourrain (or nourrin).
