Snipe: A snipe is a migratory wading bird of the Scolopacidae family, a little smaller than the woodcock, which stays in marshes, ponds and wet meadows.
Snipe is hunted from August to April (but it is best in autumn). Its plumage is brown-black on the head and back, white below. Its preparations are the same as those of the woodcock.
