Shito (sauce): Shito is a spicy sauce widely consumed in Ghana. Made from chillies and the flesh of fish and shrimp, it is black or dark in color and accompanies many Ghanaian dishes, particularly fish and kenkey, which is a dish made from fermented corn kernels.
