Pounti: A specialty of Cantal and Auvergne (central regions of France), pounti is a kind of pancake batter (locally called pascade) to which is incorporated a mince made from bacon or ham, onions and Swiss chard, beaten in beaten milk with eggs, cooked in a low oven in a cast iron casserole greased with lard. Sometimes prunes are added.
The pounti is also called farsou or farcun in northern Aveyron.
