Popiah (Asian cuisine): A popiah is a (large) spring roll common in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar (where it is called kawpyan).
In Thai, we say popiah sot, equivalent to "fresh" for the uncooked roll (spring roll), and popiah souk, which means "cooked" (corresponding to nem rán)....
