Mauricette: The mauricettes are Alsatian and German specialties. These are mini savory sandwiches made from pretzel dough and filled with butter, local charcuterie, raw vegetables or cheese, or even smoked salmon.
The mauricettes are often covered with poppy or sesame seeds or simply with fleur de sel.
In French-speaking Switzerland, mauricettes are called "delights".
