Kaak (oriental pastry): Kaak is an oriental (Lebanon) and Maghrebian pastry. These are small ring-shaped dry cakes with almonds or pistachios, flavored with rose water and sprinkled or not with icing sugar or pearl sugar.
They are mostly found at the time of Ramadan.
