Avisance (Belgian cuisine): Avisance is a culinary specialty of the city of Namur in Belgium, taking the form of a rolled-up dough slipper, stuffed with meat. It is now served hot, as a starter, usually accompanied by various salads or raw vegetables.
It is a traditional dish that should not be confused with industrial productions based on meat substitute. called “sausage bread”.
