Florentine steak : The steak Florentine (in Italian Florentine steak) is one of culinary specialties the best known of Tuscany, Italy (See Map of Tuscany below).
It’s a piece young beef (empty taurus) of Chianina or maremmana with a specific preparation: the cut of the meat is T-shaped (like the T-Bone American) or lumbar vertebra.
The meat is grilled according to likes, accompanied or not of vegetables, Tuscan beans (cannellini beans) toolive oil or s (rocket salad), but always served with a quartier de lemon for seasoning.
Ce flat disappeared for almost five years from Italian tables due to mad cow disease.
