Horace (*) speaks of it in his Odes:
Absumet heres Caecuba dignior
“A wiser heir will drink the cecubus”
He prefers it to falerne:
Caecubum and prelo domitam Caleno
you bibes uvam: mea nec Falernae
tempering quickly neque...
