Mince: v.tr. “Slicing” means cutting vegetables, fruits or meat into slices, strips or more or less thin slices, but of equal thickness. The operation is done with a slicing knife on a cutting board (cucumber, leek, mushroom, pear, apple), but also with a mandolin (carrot and turnip, potato, etc.) or with a universal robot, equipped slicing disc (potato).
