Raffinose: Raffinose is a trisaccharide (oligoside) composed of a galactose unit, a glucose unit and a fructose unit. Or more simply it is a unit of galactose attached to a unit of sucrose by its glucose.
Raffinose is found in a large number of vegetables such as beans, common cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus and other grain plants (such as soybeans).
