Monounsaturated fatty acid: Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) are found in animal fats and vegetable fats in the form of oleic acid. The vegetable oils richest in MUFA are olive oil, oleisol (*), rapeseed and peanut. The recommended intake of MUFA corresponds to half of the intake of total lipids in our diet.
