Aubergine thaïlandaise : L'aubergine thaïlandaise (Thai : มะเขือ - RTGS *: makhuea) est le nom de plusieurs variétés d'aubergines utilisées dans les cuisines d'Asie du Sud-Est, le plus souvent de l'espèce d'aubergine Solanum melongena (famille des Solanacées).(*) RGTS : Le système général royal thaïlandais de transcription ( RTGS ) est le système officiel pour rendre les mots thaïlandais dans l' alphabet latin . Il a été publié par l' Institut royal de Thaïlande.
