Evil: adj. (word from the Latin malus).
The adjective “evil” has several meanings:
1. Obsolete Meaning: Evil, baneful, mortal.
Old phrase: At the bad hour: at the hour of death.
To die a male death, a violent death.
2. Modern meaning (in some expressions and in the masculine): Willingly or unwillingly. Good year bad year.
3. As an attribute: Contrary to a moral principle, to an obligation.
Do, say something wrong.
It's wrong to say, to do that.
