Falsity: n.f. (word from the Low Latin falsitas).
The word “falsity” has several meanings:
I) Character of a false thing, contrary to the truth.
Demonstrate the falsity of an accusation.
Absolute: Quote from the French philosopher and moralist Blaise Pascal (1623-1662): “Neither contradiction is a mark of falsity, nor incontradiction is a mark of truth” (error).
Character of that which lacks accuracy.
The falsity of a judgment, of a reasoning.
