Đuveč (Serbo-Croatian cuisine): đuveč is a traditional dish from southeastern Europe. It is a braised dish of vegetables and meat, sometimes served with rice.
It serves as a national dish for many countries in the region.
Its name is inherited from the Ottoman period, the Turkish word also designating the terracotta dish in which the ingredients are braised.
