Bejgli: Bejgli is a Hungarian cake, traditionally prepared at Christmas and Easter. It can be prepared with walnuts (diós bejgli) or poppy seeds (mákos bejgli).
The basic ingredients of bejgli are: flour, butter, egg yolk, yeast, milk, walnuts or poppy seeds, raisins (optional).
In some regions of Hungary, these cakes are called kalács.
