Vaccarèse: Vaccarèse is also called silver brown. This red grape variety is grown in the Rhône Valley and produces low alcohol, but strongly colored wines. Note that the vaccaresis is practically no longer multiplied. It is part of the list of grape varieties required to obtain the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlés Chateauneuf-du-Pape (one of the thirteen authorized grape varieties of Châteauneuf) and Côtes du Rhône Villages.
