Noir de Pressac: The black Pressac grape is a Bordeaux grape variety synonymous with Malbec or Cot or Auxerrois. It was at the Château de Pressac that, from 1737 to 1747, Vassal de Montviel planted in his vineyards a noble grape variety from Quercy: Auxerrois. The grape variety then took the name of Pressac noir. Later, the Sieur Malbek took him to the Médoc, and the grape variety was called Malbec.
