Cournoise: Cournoise is an old black Rhone grape variety with large spherical red-black berries, probably of Spanish origin, which is one of the thirteen grape varieties that make up Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It was formerly known as Moustardier. It is also part of the grape variety of most appellations of the Rhône Valley and Languedoc. It gives a fairly fine wine, dark in color, with aromas of blackberry, plum and spices....
