Akpeteshie: Akpeteshie is a local aguardiente in Ghana, which is produced from fermented palm wine or fermented cane sugar juice. It normally only takes two metal cans to make it (two four-gallon cans of kerosene are usually used for this).
The standard alcohol content of akpeteshie these days is 40-50%.
