Nested: adj. "Nested" is said for the pre-flowering or the arrangement of the sepals (or petals) of a flower. It is said to be nested if, on a cycle of five pieces, a sepal (petal) has two overlapping edges, a sepal (petal) has two covered edges and the other three sepals (petals) have one covering edge and one covered edge.
