Guy Legay: Guy Legay is a French chef born in Pontgibaud in Puy-de-Dôme in 1939.
Biography: Guy Legay began his apprenticeship in 1956 at La Belle meunière in Royat with Lucien Bon. The CAP obtained, he worked at the Casino of Charbonnières-les-Bains, Maxim's, the Bristol. From 1966 to 1980 he directed the kitchens of the Ledoyen restaurant in Paris. From 1980 to 2000 he was director of the kitchens of the Ritz hotel in Paris.
During his career he provided advice to many of his students.
