Jean Delaveyne: Jean Delaveyne is a French chef (Marolles-en-Hurepoix, Essonne 1919 - Le Pecq, Yvelines 1996). He did his apprenticeship as a pastry chef at the Palais d'Orsay, then, from 1935, that of cook. He made several stays in England, where he worked as a chef in various hotels, before settling in 1957 at the Camélia, in Bougival, a modest inn which he made famous throughout the world.
