Horse (on): The expression "on horseback" is used for small pieces of grilled beef (steak, minced steak, hamburger, rib steak) on which a fried egg is placed. "Angels on horseback" (literal translation from the English angels on horse-back) are grilled oysters, placed on a toast garnished with a slice of grilled bacon.
