The verb "train" has several meanings:
I) Take away by force, push to:
1. Things: Taking (something, someone) by force with you. Torrent that drags trees in its path. ➙ spoof, take away.
The current pulls the ship towards the coast (drosser, push).
The avalanche swept away the skiers.
Mechanics: Communicate its movement to.
Engine that drives a machine.
Piston that drives a connecting rod.
Figuratively...
