It specifies in particular, for a given number of people, the quantities of each ingredient in the recipe, the preparation times and baking (the cooking method if applicable). But often, the seemingly simple recipes hide a real science of culinary research.
Nowadays, the recipes also indicate the number of silverware (quantity of ingredients needed for a given recipe), the time needed for preparation, the time for baking, the degree of difficulty in carrying out the flat, sometimes the origin of the recipe (region and / or country) and finally an economic evaluation of its cost price.
All these parameters are materialized by small culinary symbols (old or modern) that are easy to appreciate. For example, the cost price of a recipe is often symbolized by one or more acronyms of the country's currency (€€€ for example for a European recipe for a dish at a high cost price).
