Diluer : v.tr. « Diluer », c'est délayer, étendre d'eau un liquide.
La dilution c'est l'addition d'un liquide ou d'une substance à une solution pour en diminuer la concentration ou le principe actif.
La dilution est l'inverse de la concentration.
C'est aussi mélanger une matière dans un liquide de manière à l'y délayer, l'y étendre....
