Raw: adj. (word from the Latin crudus).
The adjective “raw” has several meanings:
1. En cuisine, l'adjectif « cru » qualifie quelque chose (produit, matière première), qui n’est pas cuit (aliment) ou qui n’a pas subi une préparation ou de cuisson ou de transformation.

(*) Aux États-Unis d'Amérique, les fromages non autorisés sont les fromages à base de lait cru, à pâte molle et non pasteurisé. Tous fromages au lait cru qui n’ont pas au moins 60 jours d’affinage...
