Intact: adj. The word “intact” has several meanings:
1. What has not been touched.
By extension: Which has not suffered any alteration or damage.
The skin of the orange looks damaged, but the flesh is intact.
A cake that has remained intact (whole).
2. To put it mildly: (People) Virgo. Unspoiled and pure.
3. (Abstract): Who suffered no injury. Reputation, image intact, spotless (except).
The cook came out of the kitchen fire intact....
