Cooked: adj. “Cooked” describes something that has undergone cooking before being eaten (as opposed to raw).
Cooked salad.
Food cooked to perfection, well cooked.
Food that is overcooked (burnt, charred; colloquial: scorched).
Pasta overcooked (sticky), undercooked (al dente).
Undercooked beef (brown, rare).
The adjective "half-cooked" is used for dishes whose cooking has been voluntarily stopped. This is particularly the case for half-cooked foie gras and half-cooked (chocolate) foie gras.
