Petite-vidure: Petite-vidure is a black grape, synonymous with Cabernet Sauvignon in the Graves (Bordeaux) region. Cabernet sauvignon is also called petit-cabernet or petit-bouchet in Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. Also in Graves, gros-vidure refers to Cabernet Franc. Vidure would come from the Gascon bit duro which means hard vine, the Cabernet being indeed hard to prune ....
