Melon de Bretagne: Melon de Bretagne, or red melon, is a black grape variety. These red grapes were discovered in 1995 by a winegrower in Landreau, in the middle of his Muscadet plots. It is in fact a spontaneous genetic mutation of melon de Bourgogne, a white wine variety.
