Bacchanales : n. f. pl. Les fêtes de Bacchus, fêtes orgiaques nocturnes de mauvaise réputation à cause de l’ivresse publique et des licences sexuelles qu’elles provoquaient.
Existe aussi au masculin mais très vieilli : le bacchanal, le vacarme.
