Viscera: In anatomy, the word “viscera” designates any organ contained in the cranial, thoracic and abdominal cavities: brain, heart, stomach, liver, intestine, soft (lung), spleen, kidney (kidney), uterus.
In everyday language, the term viscera is used to designate the abdominal organs (intestines, liver, stomach, intestines, etc.).
In charcuterie, the viscera are called offal and are sold in the triperies.
